Show Time on The Ides of March

Really looking forward to a show on Sunday March 15th at Vino Rosso in Toronto. I'll sharing the stage with Max Layton, Robyn Hayle and The Shenanigans. I'll have Bobby Cohen backing me up and I'm looking fowrad to trying out a couple of new songs. It's been a long hard winter so it will be good to get back out there.  Showtime is 2 to 5 P.M. A New Year a New Chance To Shine

With every new year a new chance to shine is presenred to us. I'm looking forward to 2015 as an excellent opportunity to grab for that elusive brass ring. The new album is stiil in the works. A song i wrote with Zita DaSilva Danca Comigo, a Portugese/English samba tune, perfect  for the 2016 Olymopics is being recordring by up and coming singer Mimi o'Bonsawin. Look for big things for the song and for Mimi. A big talent. Playing a couple of gigswith singer/songwriter Orit Shimoni being backed by old fave Bob Cohen and booked at mt favourite Toronto venue Musideum on May 8th.


A Night of Country Music at Musideum

The Living Room Concert Series

Looking forward to a night of country music from the 50's to the 90's at Don Quan's Musideum on Thursday Sept 25th at 8 PM. Bob Cohen and I will be playing songs we grew up with by Hank, Merle, Jones, Waylon and Willie right up to Vince Gill and Garth.. It's going to fun playing songs other than all my orignals sand I'm really looking forward to it. Will post the results after the show. Giddy up!


CCMA Awards and Country Music Week Was A Blast

What a great week we had in Edmonton Alberta for country music week. Met lots of old friends and made some new ones. Edmonton was a great host city and had all the great venues to put on the shows. The Royalty Records party was a flashback with a lot of the old legacy arists performing and some of the new ones like Hey Rpmeo. Special thanks to Rob Shapiro of ey Romeo for picking us up at airport. Saved us a few bucks and got to chat with Rob for bit as well.


The Silver Bullet Showcase At CCMAs in Edmonton

This September I will be flying off to participate at the Silver Bullet Showcase at Sherlock Holmes Pub in downtown Edmonton as part of CCMA week. There will 14 talented young singer songwriters on the bill and I get to host and introduce these up and coming stars Can't wait and I want to thank iSee & Associates  and Anya Wilson Promotions for inviting me and Cashbox Magazine Canada and the Entertainment Music Group for all their help. Big Things Coming

Hey everybody. Just a short blog to bring everyone up to speed. We are coming up on some exciting things that I will go into more detail on a little later. The new album will be ready shortly and is going to be a 20 song collection called Cover Me. These are all tunes I would love to see other artists cover and have hits with Stay tuned. In September we will showcasing in Edmonton for CCMA's with some fine young talent, Billy J White, Carli and Juli Kennedy and the talented Mike Trudell to name a few.


Cadillac Lounge Wednesday Music Club Songwriter Round

What I great time we had last Wednesday night at the iconic Cadillac Lounge in Toronto. I was invited by Irene Carroll and Brian and Trisha Donkers to be part of the first ever round at the Cadillac. What a great bunch of young songwriters there were there. Brian Donkers, Carli and Julie Kennedy, Billy J White and Steve Rivers all came armed with a bunch of great songs. BEACH CELTIC FESTIVAL YEAR 10

It’s hard to believe that this is year ten of the BeachCeltic Festival. My sister Sandy started it in 2003 to celebrate the life ofour mum who passed away in 2001. Mum was a proud Scot and taught us to be thesame.  I started performing at thefestival in 2007. I had written a song for mum called the Pipes and the Mistand wanted to perform it. It was a blast and I’ve been doing it ever since.


BULLYING: Scars That You Can’t See

We finally are ready to launch our anti bullying campaign BULLYING: Scars That You Can’t See to the world. It’s been six months in the creation and planning and with the help of the incredible SCARS TEAM of Sandy Graham, Gillian FitzGibbons, Bill Hill , Drew Hill, myself and Zita DaSilva we are set to go. And just in time for Anti Bullying Month in November.

We are focusing on an Anti Bullying Awareness night on Thursday November 15th at the Balmy Beach Club in Toronto. We are patterned with Convenant House to raise funds and awareness to this epidemic.
